CRS, a joint venture of TÜV SÜD and Sixt AG, provides services to fleet operators, offering to take over all "official errands" associated with cars.

Munich/Seoul (Pressweb) - The international technical services provider TÜV SÜD and state-owned Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) plan to cooperate closely over IEC 61850 implementation in the future. The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect in Munich. The international IEC 61850 standard provides the basis for communication in smart grids.

Munich (Pressweb) - The simplified authorisation of rolling stock within the scope of EU harmonisation now has the green light. As one of the first companies, the Federal Railway Authority has now recognised TÜV SÜD Rail GmbH as a Designated Body with Interim Function ('Interim DeBO'). In this capacity, with immediate effect TÜV SÜD Rail now supports manufacturers by offering the certification of sub-systems and rail vehicles in accordance with Commission Recommendation 2011/217/EU.
